Does ChatGPT recommend your business?
Your customers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini which provider, tool or store to choose. AI answers with a few names. Find out if yours is one of them. Free, in about 30 seconds.
No sign-up. We only read public pages of your site. How it works
How the check works
It does two things, then gives you a score.
-
1
We read your website like an AI does
AI assistants send robots (crawlers) to read websites. We visit your public pages the same way and run 14 checks:
- Access. Are AI crawlers allowed in, or blocked by your robots.txt? Can your homepage be indexed? Is it fast?
- Content. Can a crawler read your text without running JavaScript? Do you answer the questions customers ask?
- Structure. Are your business details (name, services, location) labelled in a format machines understand?
- Trust. Is it clear who runs the business and how to contact you? Is the site secure?
-
2
We ask AI your customers' questions
Using what you do and your city, we ask ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity three questions, for example:
"Who is the best dentist in Lyon?"
Then we check whether your business is named in each answer, and show you who is named instead.
-
3
You get a score out of 100
60% comes from your website checks, 40% from how often AI mentioned you. You see your 3 biggest problems right away, with how to fix each one. Enter your email to see all 14 checks.
AI answers vary from one try to the next, so treat the free check as a snapshot. We only store your results if you ask for the full report.
What is GEO?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) means making a business readable, recognizable and quotable by AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
-
1
SEO vs GEO: what's the difference?
SEO aims for a good position in a list of Google links. GEO aims for a mention inside the answer itself, when AI replies directly to your customer's question. They work together: a site that ranks well is easier for AI to quote.
-
2
How AI decides who to name
It reads the sites it can crawl, cross-checks what it finds across several sources (business profiles, directories, reviews, articles, comparisons) and names the businesses it can clearly identify and that answer the question precisely.
-
3
What GetCited does
GetCited is a GEO agency that measures whether AI names your business, fixes what stops it on your site and elsewhere, then measures again with the same questions. We work in French and English, with local businesses, SaaS companies and online stores.

Start with the free checkStay Cited: €190 per month
AI answers change every month. To keep your spot, we track 20 questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, publish 1 piece of content a month built to be quoted, work on getting you onto the “best…” lists AI draws from, and send you a monthly report. No commitment: you decide at the end of the Sprint, with the before/after numbers in hand.
Founding clients: our first 5 clients get 30% off the Sprint, in exchange for a case study and a testimonial.
Claim a spotWe guarantee the work and the measurement, not the AI. Nobody can honestly promise that ChatGPT will name you, because its answers change. What we promise: every item gets done, and you see the numbers before and after, on questions we agree on together.
Who's behind GetCited
GetCited is run by a small team of computer science students at Sorbonne University in Paris. We built our own tool to test how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini read a website and which businesses they name. We apply the same method to every client: measure, fix, then measure again with the same questions. You see every number before and after.

Questions
What does the free check look at?
Two things. First, we read the public pages of your website the way an AI crawler does and run 14 checks, such as whether AI bots are allowed in and whether your business details are machine-readable. Second, we ask AI assistants three questions your customers would ask, like "Who is the best dentist in Lyon?", and look for your name in the answers.
How is the score calculated?
The score out of 100 combines your website readiness (60%) and how often AI mentioned you in its answers (40%). If the AI test doesn't run, the score is your website readiness alone.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No, and nobody honestly can. AI answers change from one run to the next and the models are updated often. We guarantee the work: every item gets done, and we measure your AI visibility before and 30 days after with the same questions.
Do you work with SaaS and e-commerce, or only local businesses?
All three. The method is the same: make your site readable by AI, make your business recognizable everywhere, and be present where AI gets its answers. What changes is the questions we test and the sources we work on: directories and reviews for local businesses, comparisons and software review sites for SaaS, product pages and buying guides for e-commerce.
Why "from" €590?
A local practice has a handful of pages. A SaaS or a store can have dozens, with product pages and comparisons. The final price is set after the free check, before we start, and doesn't change after that.
What happens after the Sprint?
On day 30 you get the before/after report. The Sprint is done and all the work is yours. If you want us to keep tracking and improving your AI visibility, you can move to Stay Cited (€190 a month, no commitment). If not, there's nothing more to pay.
Do I need a new website?
No. We work on your existing site, whether it's WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace or custom code.
What access do you need for the Sprint?
Editor access to your website (or your developer's contact) and to your Google Business Profile if you have one. If you can't share access, we send you the exact files and instructions.
